<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily detect an improper stop of a motor. <P>SOLUTION: A state monitoring apparatus has a motor; a driven body that shifts into a predetermined state by being driven by the motor and that comes out of the predetermined state when driven a predetermined amount by the motor after the transition into the predetermined state; a sensor that outputs a signal indicating that the driven body is in the predetermined state during a period from when the driven body shifts into the predetermined state to when it gets out of the predetermined state; and a controller that stops the motor during the period and that, a predetermined period of time after the motor has been stopped, determines whether or not the driven body has come out of the predetermined state according to the output of the sensor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
