<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an oldham type shaft coupling having axially compact construction for smooth transmission of rotation while suppressing rattling between a hub and a spacer. <P>SOLUTION: A driving shaft hub 81 and a driven shaft hub 82 each have two columnar protrusions 81a, 82a protruded toward a spacer 83 in the axial direction and arranged in point symmetry in relation to the axial center. The spacer 83 for receiving the columnar protrusions 81a, 82a is arranged in a cross shape extending radially in relation to the axial center. It has four oblong holes 83a passing therethrough in the axial direction. The four protrusions 81a, 82a are inserted into the four oblong holes 83a of the spacer 83 so that a diameter line mutually connecting two protrusions 81a of the driving shaft hub 81 and a diameter line mutually connecting two protrusions 82a of the driven shaft hub 82 are perpendicular to each other in an axial cross section at a right angle to the axis. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
