<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain the quality of a hardened mold by improving the filling performance of molding sand with a simple configuration even in the case of mplding the mold, where thick and thin portions coexist. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of blow nozzles, which are arranged at the lower part of a blow-head for storing the molding sand 41 and blow-charges the molding sand 41 into a cavity 36, are composed of a normally opening type blow nozzle 7 and an opening/closing type blow nozzle 8. The opening/closing type blow nozzle 8 is composed of a nozzle body 8a formed of an elastic material elastically deformable and a cutoff ball 8c, which is arranged in the nozzle body 8a and opens/closes an opening part 8b. The molding sand 41 is injected into the cavity 36 only from the normally opening type blow nozzle 7 by connecting the normally opening type blow nozzle 7 to the fitting-up hole 38 in a molding mold 35, and then a blow-head 1 and the molding mold 35 are relatively moved in the approaching direction, and an abutting part 39 arranged around the filling-up hole 38 in the forming die 35 is made in contact with the nozzle body 8a to deform the nozzle body 8a and the cutoff hole 8c is made into the opening state, thereby injecting the molding sand 41 into the cavity 36 from the opening/closing blow nozzle 8. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
