<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To monitor the traffic situation of a plurality of monitoring circuits and to grasp the communication situation of a changing network accurately so as to obtain a stable operation of the network, and to grasp the quality situation of a communication path precisely so as to achieve an optimization of a network resource. <P>SOLUTION: A network monitoring system has at least a plurality of collecting apparatuses for monitoring the monitoring circuits; a means for storing a communication data information having at least a time stamp, a totaling means to total at least traffic informations of the monitoring circuits by application, based on each collected information; and a communication quality measuring means which decides a data communication of a measuring object conducting the data communication using a certain application based on the totaled result and measures the communication quality of each application as for target data communication regarded, based on the comparison of the time stamp of the transmission data of a transmission source, with the time stamp of the reception data of transmission destination. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
