PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of a failure caused by the ATI phenomenon of a hard disk. SOLUTION: Data of all files saved in a hard disk is read. A temporary file is created for an empty area other than the file saving area of the hard disk. Then, optional data is written in this temporary file until the free capacity of the hard disk becomes equal to or less than a prescribed value. Then, after the writing of data in the temporary file until the free capacity of the hard disk becomes equal to or less than the prescribed value, the temporary file is deleted from the hard disk.
