PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an inspection/maintenance of a packaging apparatus main body to be easily performed without being obstructed by a transferring apparatus in the packaging apparatus for spherical agricultural products in which a carrying apparatus for circulating and turning a plurality of receiving sections which mount and hold a spherical agricultural product is installed on the packaging apparatus main body being constituted in such a manner that the spherical agricultural product having been inserted and fed into an entrance facing upward may be wrapped with a packaging sheet and sealed, and at the same time, the transferring apparatus which feeds the spherical agricultural product having been carried to a specified position by the carrying apparatus into the entrance of the packaging apparatus main body by picking it up is arranged on the upper section of the packaging apparatus main body. SOLUTION: The packaging apparatus supports the transferring apparatus 3 around a fulcrum p, and is constituted to enable a transfer operating state and an evacuated state to be switched. Under the transfer operating state, the transferring apparatus 3 is located above the packaging apparatus main body 1, and under the evacuated state, the transferring apparatus 3 is shifted from the position above the packaging apparatus main body 1, which are switchable.
