PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide lower body structure of a vehicle capable of improving rigidity over the whole of a vehicle body by improving the yield strength of the vehicle body in the back and forth direction and in the right and left direction without requiring a large frame reinforcement, especially, by connecting a side sill having high rigidity to a seat slide rail with a connecting member. SOLUTION: A plurality of seat slide rails 16 and 17 extending forward and backward on a floor panel 3 are arranged at an interval in the vehicle cross direction, and the side sills 7 extending forward and backward are provided at outside parts of the floor panels 1 and 3, and a connecting member 45 is provided to connect the side sills 7 to the seat slide rail 16.
