A minimally invasive fasciectomy device is characterised by a tubular fastening element comprising two tubular shell halves (2, 2) detachably joined to one another, each having a wedge-shaped recess at a proximal end and a wedge-shaped recess at a distal end, a deflecting rod (1) with a length that corresponds substantially to the section between the recesses, and lifting wedges (11, 12) each with a recess (13) located in the lower section thereof for detachably joining the lifting wedges (11, 12) to the deflecting rod (1). The lifting wedges (11, 12) can be inserted into the wedge-shaped recesses, pushing the detachably joined tubular shelf halves (2, 2) away from one another.
