A breathable gas supply device has a gas-input (3) via which the input gas (2) to be moistened is supplied, and a gas output (6) for the moistened output gas (5), as well as a vapor/steam supply (11-13) in which the liquid to be evaporated is supplied and which is supplied with an evaporation device (12,13) controlled by a control device (15), which determines a temperature of the output gas (5) to be expected, at a given desired moisture level. An independent claim is given for a method for preparing moistened breathable gas. |
