<p>To reduce the mixing calculations in a multipoint audio connection apparatus and a communication system and use a smaller scale of hardware to compose them. Each of virtual communication terminals (150) in a multipoint audio connection apparatus (100) is mesh connected to a plurality of communication terminals (200) via a network and transmits/receives audio data to/from the communication terminals (200). The virtual communication terminal (150) outputs a first audio data obtained by mixing a received audio data to a central mixer (130) and transmits a second audio data outputted from the central mixer (130) to the communication terminals (200). The central mixer (130) generates the second audio data obtained by mixing a plurality of audio data outputted from the virtual communication terminals (150) and outputs the second audio data to the virtual communication terminals (150). During generation of the second audio data, the central mixer (130) excludes, from the mixing process, the first audio data outputted from the virtual communication terminal (150) to which the second audio data is to be supplied.</p> |
