FIELD: foundry, namely manufacture of casting sands, casting molds and cores for making metallic castings. ^ SUBSTANCE: casting binder contains epoxy resin, alkyl silicate, fatty acid ester, oxidizing agent such as cumene hydroperoxide and in addition it may contain polyol. Binder is solidified at presence of sulfur dioxide. Addition to binder of 1 - 10 mass% of alkyl silicate provides improved strength of casting molds in heated state and allows decrease content of binder at making casting cores. ^ EFFECT: improved strength of casting molds in heated state, lowered content of binder in casting cores. ^ 11 cl, 1 tbl, 2 ex |
