A no-contact ignition control device includes a stop switch (20) which ma intains a second switching element (18) at the OFF state so that an induced voltage of a trigger coil (2) triggers a first switching element (12) and sh ortcircuit a generation coil (1).A serge absorption element (21) is connecte d in parallel to the stop switch (20). This configuration prevents intrusion of a serge current into the ignition control circuit caused by static elect ricity accumulated on the surface of casing covering electronic parts of the ignition control circuit and surely avoid dielectric breakdown of the elect ronic parts or malfunction of the circuit by the serge current.
