Method and system for measuring the number of high energy neutrons

The method involves allocating a detector in a target material, which verifies the radioactive emission. A measurement is accomplished for determining the number of events arising in the detector as the function of the time. A starting time point (S1) is configured, and an evaluation time frame is configured according to the starting time point. Results measured in the evaluation time frame are evaluated. A counter value is displayed depending on the number of high-energy neutrons. An independent claim is also included for a system for measuring the number of high-energy neutrons.
