<p>The invention concerns a slip regulating method for transmission means mounted in a continuously variable transmission, in particular a (winding element) continuously variable transmission mounted in a motor vehicle. Said method is characterized in that it consists in detecting and correcting the transmission means slip and, further, in detecting the coupling slip of a coupling transmitting the drive torque to the transmission through appropriate sensors and in correcting same through a coupling support pressure control. In order to provide optimized wear of the transmission means, the invention provides, in specific transmission ranges, correction of the transmission means slip through a prestress control and, in other transmission ranges, correction of the coupling through a support pressure control. The latter transmission ranges are, in particular, the starting transmission range and the terminal transmission range.</p> |
