A connection device is provided to enable an inter-electrode compound to be difficult to be accumulated between the surface of an elastic arm and an electrode when the electrode made of a compound metal containing tin is in contact with the elastic arm repeatedly, thereby increasing a life of a connection portion. A plurality of connection portions are formed in a connection device, and an electrode(42) is connected to the connection portions. The electrode is made of a compound metal containing tin. In each of the connection portions, a conductive elastic arm(22) is formed to be elastically connected to the electrode. The elastic arm has a conductive core portion(30) and a coated layer(33) which is coated on the surface of the core portion to reduce contact resistance with the electrode. The coated layer is made of a platinoid metal layer.
