The container 11 comprises a box 13 which is convertible between a flat configuration and a stable volume-defining configuration, and contains a transparent lining bag 15 for holding liquid, e.g a sample, the liquid volume being measurable by means of graduations 23 on the box. In one embodiment the box 13 is a substantially transparent plastic box. In another embodiment the box 13 is a paperboard or opaque plastic box having a window comprised of a substantially transparent material. One or more such graduations 23 are provided to indicate the volume of liquid in the container when the box 13 is in the volume-defining configuration. The bag 15 can be attached to the box 13 by adhesive 21 and the box has interlocking flaps 27-33. |
