An electronic device, a display control method thereof, and a recording medium are provided to install a rotative center of a mobile side casing unit in the vicinity of a hinge unit of a fixed side casing unit, so that the mobile side casing unit can be near to the fixed side casing unit according to a rotative angle, thereby improving visibility of a display and operability of an input operator. An electronic device comprises a fixed side casing unit(4) and a mobile side casing unit(6). A mobile arm unit(8) is attached to be opened and closed by interposing a hinge unit(10) into the fixed side casing unit. The mobile side casing unit is rotatively supported on the mobile arm unit. A rotative center 'Oa' of the mobile side casing unit is set at a position near to the hinge unit. The rotative center of the mobile side casing unit is set in a central line or in the vicinity of the mobile side casing unit.
