HEAT PUMP SYSTEM FOR A AUTOMOTIVE VEHICLES

A heat pump system for a vehicle is provided to prevent liquid refrigerant from being introduced into a compressor from an outer heat exchanger before vaporization by heating a refrigerant pipe connecting an inner heat exchanger to the compressor by a heater. A heat pump system for a vehicle includes a heater(60) for heating refrigerant introduced into a compressor(10) from an inner heat exchanger(20) for increasing evaporation rate of the refrigerant. The heater is a PTC heater(62) mounted on the periphery of a refrigerant pipe connecting the inner heat exchanger to the compressor.
