A plasma display panel is provided to prevent an increase of reactive power consumption caused by an increase of a total area of address electrodes. A second substrate(121) is arranged opposite to a first substrate(111). A plurality of barrier ribs(115,124) are arranged between the first and second substrates in order to define discharge cells. A plurality of discharge sustain electrodes(114) are arranged between the first and second substrates in order to cause gas discharge within the discharge cells by using interaction. A plurality of address electrodes(122) are extended to cross the discharge sustain electrodes. A phosphor layer(125) is arranged in the discharge cells. The discharge cells are filled with discharge gas. A unit pixel has a pitch of 760 micrometers and less. Each of the address electrodes has a width of 50 to 80 micrometers.
