<p>A method for developing a molecular DNA marker is provided to obtain the marker which is applicable to an early selection of Korean native cattle having high dressing percentage with rapidity, convenience and accuracy. A method for developing a molecular DNA marker comprises the steps of: (A) isolating DNA from a sample such as a muscular tissue, blood, and a hair root of Korean native cattle; (b) after amplifying an apolipoprotein E(APOE) gene of the Korean native cattle using a specific primer of SEQ ID : NO. 1 through PCR, analyzing a sequence thereof; and (c) analyzing each genotype of CC type, CT type and TT type regarding a novel single nucleotide polymorphism(SNP) of the APOE gene through PCR-RFLP analysis. The SNP marker of the APOE gene is used as a DNA marker in order to select the Korean native cattle with high dressing percentage.</p> |
