<p>A counter shaft brake apparatus of a transmission is provided to lengthen a lifetime of a synchronizer by reducing the amount of impact applied to the synchronizer. A counter shaft brake apparatus includes a transmission case, a counter shaft(120), a counter shaft brake(130), and a counter shaft brake operation fork(140). The counter shaft is installed horizontally inside the transmission case. The counter shaft brake is coupled with the counter shaft in order to stop variably the counter shaft. The counter shaft brake operation fork is formed to operate the counter shaft brake. The counter shaft brake operation fork and a clutch release fork(150) are formed with one body. The counter shaft brake operation fork and the clutch release fork are operated at the same time.</p> |
