摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner which can satisfy toner fluidity, electrostatic chargeability, developing performance, transferability, fog on a photosensitive material and a property of contaminating the inside of a machine and is improved in failure in the stability of a charged state particularly in its early stages and with time. SOLUTION: In the toner for electrostatic latent image developer containing toner particles consisting essentially of a bonding resin, a metallic complex compound and a colorant and an external additive, the ratio of the volume average particle diameter of the toner to the number average particle diameter of the toner is <=1.2 and the ratio of the quantity of electric charges on the toner with the additive to that on the toner matrix is <=1.2. When a light emitting voltage due to carbon derived from the bonding resin of the toner particles is represented by X, a light emitting voltage due to an element derived from the metallic complex compound is represented by Y and primary regression to a straight line passing through the starting points of X and Y is carried out, the absolute deviation of each of the elements is <0.08 and the sum total of X derived from particles present on a straight line with Y=0 is <=5% of the sum total of X derived from the other particles.</p>
