A conductive composition for use in an organic light- emitting device comprising: a polycation having a conjugated backbone; a polyanion to balance the charge on the polycation; and a semiconductive hole transport polymer containing side groups pendant from the polymer backbone, each side group comprising one or more groups XY, where XY represents a group with a high dissociation constant such that it is ionised completely.
