PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a cholesterol depressant or foods and beverage that can effectively lower the cholesterol levels in blood or liver with side-effect reduced by using a safe yeast. SOLUTION: One or two or more kinds of yeasts in Candida, Issatchenkia, Hanseniaspora, Kloeckera, Kluyveromyces, Pichia, and Torulaspora used as active ingredients to prepare a cholesterol depressant or foods and beverage including the same. Thus, cholesterol value can be lowered safely and effectively. |
