A direction of movement, an insertion amount and an insertion force amount at a time when an insertion section (11) of an endoscope (1) is inserted in a large intestine, which is an object of an inspection, are detected by detection means (36). The direction of movement, the insertion amount and the insertion force amount of the insertion section (11) are displayed on a display device (20) which is separably disposed. Thereby, a high-precision insertion operation can simply and easily be realized, and a handling operability is improved. |
