摘要 A vehicle air conditioner is provided to block CO2 flow toward an evaporator for preventing air pollution in a vehicle room space when the CO2 is leaked from the evaporator, and to keep circulation of refrigerant through a bypass line for the stabilization of the air conditioner system. A vehicle air conditioner includes a bypass line(90) connected between an outlet of a first path(52) and an inlet of a second path(54) in an inner heat exchanger(50), a sensor(60) for sensing CO2 concentration in a vehicle, and a valve unit for opening or closing the bypass line to flow refrigerant flowing in an evaporator(40) to an inlet of a compressor(10) according to a control signal output from a controller(70). The controller compares the sensed CO2 concentration with a preset one. If the sensed CO2 concentration is higher than the preset one, the controller determines CO2 leakage from the evaporator and outputs the control signal to the valve unit. The valve unit has a first valve(80) for closing an inlet of an expansion valve(30) for bypassing the refrigerant flowing toward the evaporator to the bypass line, a second valve(92) for opening the bypass line, and a third valve(100) for closing an outlet of the evaporator for blocking the refrigerant flowing back from the bypass line to the outlet of the evaporator.
