PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the air from being drawn into a recording head. SOLUTION: A liquid cartridge which supplies a liquid to a liquid injection device by being fitted into the liquid injection device has a liquid storage part for storing the liquid, a supply part for supplying the liquid stored in the liquid storage part to the liquid injection device, an atmosphere valve for opening or sealing a communication hole which makes the liquid storage part communicate with the atmosphere, and an energizing part for energizing the atmosphere valve towards the communication hole to seal the communication hole.
