PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inkjet recorder and a method of inkjet recording capable of maintaining a condition of a recording head for proper ejection of ink without lowering the recording speed and the image quality. SOLUTION: In the case where a color pixel 22 is formed on a recording medium by ejecting ink from an ejection nozzle which does not eject the ink for a time period not less than a predetermined ejection rest time period, a white pixel 23 is formed on the color pixel 22 to allow the color pixel to be inconspicuous.
