An engaging structure of a slip in tube propeller shaft for a vehicle is provided to simplify manufacturing structure by engaging the propeller shaft through a spline and to prevent entering foreign material by press fixing a sealing member at a connetion of an inner tube. An engaging structure of a slip in tube propeller shaft for a vehicle comprises an outer tub(2), a sealing member, a ring band(6), and a sealing strap(7). The outer tub is assembled to a transaxle(T) by a joint(J). The power of an engine(E) is inputted to the transaxle. The sealing member is press-fitted to a connection of an inner tube(4) engaged with the propeller shaft by the joint. The sealing member has a spline(5) to be combined to an outer tube(2) through a spline(3). The diameter of the ring band is larger than a press fixed end(6a) which is press fitted to an end of the outer tube. The ring band which has a tightness generating end(6b) is integrally formed to the slip in propeller shaft. The tightness generating end contains the sealing strap inside. The sealing strap is contained in the ring band, and adhered to a periphery surface of the inner tube to prevent entering of foreign material through a crack between the inner tube and the outer tube.
