A motorcycle is provided to reduce a thickness of one of two extension units without necessity to increase rigidity of the extension unit, thereby suppressing increment of weight of a rear fork. A rear fork is installed on a car body frame to be movable upward and downward. A rear wheel(35) is installed on a rear end of the rear fork, and a gear case is installed on a side of the rear wheel. A drive shaft(56) is installed between the gear case and an output shaft as a power unit. Output of the power unit is transmitted to the rear wheel through the drive shaft and the gear case. The rear fork includes two extension units(111,112). The one extension unit is extended toward one side of the rear wheel. The other extension unit is extended toward the other side of the rear wheel. The drive shaft passes through the one extension unit. The one extension has a wider width than the other extension unit and an opened cross sectional structure. The other extension unit has a closed cross sectional structure.
