A method for manufacturing a metal lug cap is provided to prevent the lug cap from being damaged due to contact with a vessel and to minimize corrosion of the lug cap due to metal exposure and chemical action. A method for manufacturing a metal lug cap comprises a step of a forming a cap body(A) having the basic shape of the lug cap with a bottom surface and a sidewall section(120) by performing pressing relative to a plate through a first mold having the basic shape of the lug cap. A precurl(B) is formed using a second mold for curling only an end portion of the sidewall section. A third mold(203) having a movable mold(203b) and a press mold(203a) is inserted into the cap body. A lug section is formed by allowing the precurl of the cap body to protrude inward from the sidewall section, so that the lug cap is manufactured.
