METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR COMMUNICATION SCHEDULING IN MMR SYSTEM

A communication scheduling method and system in an MMR(Mobile Multi-hop Relay) system are provided to minimize interference by enabling an MS(Mobile Station) to measure interference of each RS(Relay Station) and feed it back to a BS(Base Station), and enable the BS to schedule transmission of each RS. A reference value is set to generate communication scheduling information(S10). A BS receives CQI(Channel Quality Indicator) values from MSs located in each RS area(S20). The BS compares the received CQI values of the MSs with a reference value(S30). If the CQI values are all smaller than the reference value, the BS generates scheduling information for simultaneously transmitting downlink signals whose frequency bands are entirely or partially repeated to each MS of a cell region of each RS(S40). The scheduling information is transmitted to each RS(S60). Each RS transmits a downlink signal to the MSs(S70).
