A display device and its manufacturing method are provided to solve a problem of a complex process and a high-cost by simplifying a process for forming a micro shutter with a photoresist mold having a concave curved surface-shaped side wall. A display device includes an insulating substrate(110), a metal wiring(195), and a micro shutter(192). The metal wiring is formed on the insulating substrate. A center of the micro shutter is connected to the metal wiring and both ends thereof are floated to be movable. The micro shutter becomes thinner toward both ends thereof. The micro shutter is opened and closed by electrostatic force and the display device controls an amount of transmitted light by controlling an extent of opening of the micro shutter according to the electrostatic force.
