METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF ACETABULAR DYSPLASIA

A method for the surgical treatment of the acetabular dysplasia comprises the transversal osteotomy of the hip bone at the level of superior lateral edge of acetabulum above the joint space, the displacement of the distal fragment relative to the proximal fragment with the head of femur and the articulare capsule medially at the distance from two third to the full thickness of the body of the hip bone followed by the fixation of the stated bone fragments. In addition, the half-round osteotomy of the lateral edge of the proximal fragment of the hip bone is performed medially and caudally at the distance of 0.2-0.4 cm from the joint space. The edge of the bone is turned laterally and caudally in such a way that the distance between the stated edge of the proximal fragment and the head of femur equals the joint space. The diastasis between the proximal fragment of the hip bone at the level of the half-round osteotomy is filled with autograft. The half-round osteotomy follows the transversal ostetomy.
