A cathode assembly relates to an electro-vacuum microwave frequency resonators of magnetron type. The construction has cone form of secondary emission cathode butt-end and possibility apply voltage between the secondary emission cathode and thermoemission one. The invention provides the necessary space charge density in an interaction space when thermoemission current is lower. The invention provides extended life time of devices and reduced warm-up time of device to operation. |
