A method and a device for objective automated audiometry are provided to obtain an evoked response audiometry result with a high quality applied with a high signal to noise ratio with a minimum average. A method for objective automated audiometry includes the steps of: arbitrarily setting a measuring environment by a user before the audiometry(200); realizing an EEG(Electroencephalogram) introduced from an electrode attached on a head of a subject just before the audiometry as a real time graphic image; visualizing an FFT(Fast Fourier Transform) analyzing result for a periodic artifact component per second of the introduced EEG by a quantitative display device; arbitrarily filtering strong periodic artifact based on the FFT analyzing result by the user: automatically setting an A epoch including a V wave peak and a B epoch including an SN10 peak after tracking a V wave peak generation point(218,220); setting an audiometry stimulus start strength in a present test by detecting a minimum stimulus strength spot where a difference between the EEG strengths of the A epoch and B epoch is less than a critical value predetermined in the 200 step(222); and determining objective auditory thresholds by frequencies(232).
