A specimen preprocessing/transport apparatus is provided to simplify the constitutions of transport routes of specimen-filled test tubes and sample cup racks, and improve the processing efficiency. A specimen preprocessing/transport apparatus includes: a test tube transport route(13) in which specimen-filled test tubes are individually held within test tube holders and transported one after another in a standing-up position; a rack transport route(14) which extends parallel to the test tube transport route and in which at least five sample cups in each set are held within a sample cup rack in a standing-up position and the sample cup rack is transported; a filled test tube mounting part(15) which loads the specimen-filled test tubes into the test tube transport route; a rack mounting part(16) which loads the sample cup rack into the rack transport route; an aliquoting/dispensing device(36) which is disposed in the middle of the test tube transport route, aliquots the specimens in at least five specimen-filled test tubes in each set transported on the test tube transport route at the same time, and dispenses at least five sample cups on the rack transport route at the same time; and an analyzers(21A,21B,21C) which are disposed at the downstream side of the rack transport route and receives the specimen-stored sample cup rack to analyze the specimens.
