A plasma display panel is provided to reduce the generation of vibration and noise by forming supporting barrier ribs at an inside and an outside of a seal layer. A rear substrate(111) is arranged opposite to a front substrate(101). An effective barrier rib(112) is formed between the front substrate and the rear substrate in order to define discharge cells. A seal layer is formed between the front substrate and the rear substrate in order to attach the front substrate and the rear substrate to each other. A first supporting barrier rib is formed in the inside of the seal layer in order to support the front substrate and the rear substrate. A second supporting barrier rib is formed in the outside of the seal layer in order to support the front substrate and the rear substrate.
