An RF receiving circuit is provided to extend a reception gain control range by controlling a reception gain to be larger or smaller according to the field strength of a received signal. An LNA(Low Noise Amplifier)(21) amplifies a broadcast signal received from an antenna(ANT) and outputs the amplified broadcast signal. A tuner converts the broadcast signal inputted after being outputted from the LNA into an IF(Intermediate Frequency), and outputs the same. A through circuit(23) lowers a reception gain of the broadcast signal received from the antenna, and outputs the same. A microcomputer(24) activates or deactivates the LNA and the through circuit according to the voltage of an AGC(Automatic Gain Control) signal outputted from the tuner.
