A hardenable composition that forms a fluorinated hardening product excelling in lightfast durability, transparency, moistureproofness and adherence; and a novel adamantane compound. There is provided a liquid hardenable composition comprising not only a fluorinated polymer having an epoxy group or a group capable of reacting with acid anhydrides and containing a polymer unit from fluoroolefin and a polymer unit from hydrocarbon monomer but also an epoxidized fluorinated compound and an acid anhydride. Further, there is provided an adamantane compound comprising an adamantane ring having hydrogen atoms whose one to four are replaced by glycidyl ether groups while remaining 6 or more hydrogen atoms are replaced by fluorine atoms. ® KIPO & WIPO 2008
