A composition comprising an extract of oil olive leaves including oleuropein as a main material is provided to show excellent inhibitory and sterilizing effect on diseases causing bacteria and have strong antibacterial activity and safety without resistance, thereby being effective for preventing and treating skin diseases, oral cavity diseases and other internal and external diseases. A method for preparing a composition mainly from an extract of olive leaves comprises the steps of: (a) heating alcohol; (b) mixing the extract of olive leaves containing oleuropein with the heated alcohol with maintaining the temperature of the alcohol at lower than 8 deg.C; and (c) after adding glycerin to the mixture obtained from the step(b), homogenizing it by mixing. A processed article using the extract of olive leaves is characterized in that it is prepared by adding the composition mainly from the extract of olive leaves to a beauty detergent, a toothpaste and a health supplemental food.
