摘要 A method of casting a Cu-Be alloy for casting having high qualities including high strength, high conductivity, and improved flexibility and elasticity through an optimal melting process and an optimal continuous casting process is provided. In a method for casting the Cu-Be alloy into a predetermined shape through a continuous vacuum casting process after subjecting a Cu-Be alloy to a vacuum melting process, a method for continuous casting of the Cu-Be alloy comprises carrying out the continuous vacuum casting process at conditions including a molten metal temperature of 1100 to 1200 deg.C, a dies temperature of 900 to 1000 deg.C, a continuous casting speed of 20 to 50 mm/min(speed of 0.8 mm/sec, range of 1.3 to 1.8 mm, and time of 0.3 to 0.6 sec), an inlet/outlet water quantity of 1 to 5 L/min, and a degree of vacuum of 10^-1 to 10^-5 torr. The method comprises carrying out the vacuum melting process at conditions including a degree of vacuum of 10^-2 to 10^-3 torr, a melting temperature of 1300 deg.C, and a melting quantity of 30 kg using a 50 kW vacuum induction furnace with a high frequency of 3 kHz after charging a Cu-4wt.% Be mother alloy, electrolytic copper, and other supporting components into a crucible.
