A method of adjusting time data of an electronic apparatus is provided to store time data information at a predetermined time period and compare the time data information with a counted time value when a power failure is generated and then recovered to adjust time data. Time data information according to counted time is stored at a predetermined time period(206). When a power failure occurs while the time data information is stored(208), a time value according to the power failure is counted using backup power(210). When the power failure is recovered while the time value is counted(212), the stored time data information is extracted(216). It is checked whether a difference between the counted time value and the extracted time data information exceeds a predetermined time value(218). When the difference does not exceed the predetermined time value, the counted time value is stored as the time data information and, simultaneously, time is indicated(224,226).
