A subscriber authentication module, a mobile terminal having the module and a DRM(Digital Rights Management) method using the module are provided to freely use data stored in the subscriber authentication module even though the subscriber authentication module is attached to another mobile terminal and perform authentication of transmitted data as well as subscriber authentication using a DRM module included in the subscriber authentication module. A subscriber authentication module(100) includes a user information storage unit(110) and a DRM module(120). The user information storage unit stores authentication information of a terminal subscriber. The DRM module decodes digital-encoded data using DRM information. The subscriber authentication module further includes a data storage unit(130) for storing the digital-encoded data and providing the stored data to the DRM module.
