TIME STAMP BASED SAMPLING METHOD OF DATA STREAM

A time stamp based sampling method of a data stream is provided to perform sampling for an order pattern analysis of a data stream, and to execute the order pattern analysis in various fields like a packet analysis of a network and a sensor data field. A time stamp based sampling method of a data stream comprises the following steps of: inputting an event orders dividing a data stream by a time based window(S10); storing the event orders in a first storing place(S20); selecting an order data having a smallest time stamp in the first storing place(S40); and determining whether the selected order data is used for a sampling data or not(S50). The step of determining comprises sampling with a probability of a reciprocal number of the number of necessary order data.
