A rear expansion valve of a dual type air conditioning system for a vehicle is provided to allow oil mixed with refrigerant to easily flow to a compressor by forcibly operating a valve stem to open an orifice so that the refrigerant flows. A rear expansion valve of a dual type air conditioning system comprises first and second fluid paths(32,33). A valve body(31) is formed in the first fluid path and has an orifice(32d). A valve stem(37) controls the amount of refrigerant passing through the orifice. A head unit(34) is installed at an upper part of the valve body. A diaphragm(34c) is installed at an upper space of the head unit. Two ends of a rod(35) are connected to the diaphragm and the valve stem. A heater(38) is installed at an outer surface of the head unit, and is operated according to power supply.
