<p>A fluorescent lamp dimming apparatus is provided to save unnecessary energy by controlling illumination from a small capacity to 100%. A fluorescent lamp dimming apparatus includes a lamp driving unit(160), a signal detection unit(220), a ballast control unit(140), a feedback unit(170), and a control unit(280). The driving unit drives a fluorescence lamp. The signal detection unit detects a signal including illumination and temperature of the fluorescence lamp to output a control signal based on ambient circumference. The ballast control unit switches an internal switching element alternatively to supply power to the lamp driving unit connected with a resonance circuit. The feedback unit feedbacks an output signal of the lamp driving unit. The control unit takes the signal from the feedback unit and the control signal from the signal detection unit to control a frequency of an AC signal variably for controlling illumination of the fluorescence lamp.</p> |
