A terminal device for payment is provided to extend the utilization of a terminal as an online or offline payment unit by using portability, mobility and a value storage function through an IC(Integrated Circuit) chip. A sound processing unit receives sound data provided in a mobile phone. An IC chip processing unit separately extracts payment transaction data from the received sound data. A screen output unit outputs the extracted payment transaction data on a screen. A payment approving unit approves payment by using the payment transaction data.
