<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize sufficient motor control when one shunt current detection system is adopted. <P>SOLUTION: A motor controller is provided with an inverter 2 driving a three phase-type motor 1 and a current detecting part 21(5) detecting busbar current flowing in a busbar with a DC power supply 4 supplying DC voltage to the inverter 2 and a current estimator 23 estimating current vector of a motor 1 on a dq coordinate. Motor current flowing in the motor 1 is detected by using a detection result of the current detecting part 21 or that of the current estimator 23. The motor 1 is controlled through the inverter 2 based on detected motor current.
