<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery pack capable of improving an output density. <P>SOLUTION: Four pieces of unit cells are connected in series in the battery pack. The unit cells are arranged in parallel so that polarities are alternate. The neighboring unit cells are mutually connected by a connecting member 40. The connecting member 40 is constituted of a laminated metal plate in which two sheets of metal plates 40a, 40b are piled and laminated. As for the metal plates 40a, 40b, copper and nickel forming a binary alloy by welding are used, respectively. Since the volume resistivity of copper is about one fourth that of nickel, the ratio of the volume resistivity of the metal respectively used for the metal plates 40a, 40b becomes a half or lower. Both ends of the connecting member 40 are joined by resistance welding to one positive electrode external terminal and the other negative electrode external terminal out of the neighboring unit cells, respectively.
